As a small boy, I lived in the countryside.
This was in the 1970s, so there was little light and satellite pollution.
I remember the power, mystery and magic of a starry night.
The Milky Way was visible.
It was deeply reassuring.
All the beautiful stars had a subtle yet powerful presence.

Writing in 2026, we have almost lost this.
It is a severe injury to the spirituality and health of humans.
It must be stopped and reversed.
Like fossil fuels and plastic, the tap needs to be turned off!

There is massive light pollution. At least with light pollution, we may be able to travel to dark places on Earth and still witness the magic of stars.

However, my biggest concern is the proliferation of satellites and space junk.
Even before 2026, it was really bad.
But in 2026, Elon Musk plans to put as many as a million satellites into orbit to form vast, solar-powered datacentres for AI.
The night sky as experienced by humans for millions of years may be blocked off.
It is not Starlink, it is Starblock.
It is corruption on a cosmic scale.
In my view, this is absolutely demonic.

The mental health of all humanity is at grave risk.
Halt this destruction of the human spirit...
Stop this desecration of Nature....

Quotes

On a clear evening, stop for a moment and gaze up at the stars. Imagine that you are leaving the earth and all its conflicts and tragedies behind you and that you are becoming a citizen of the skies. Meditate on the beauty of the constellations and the magnificence of the beings who inhabit them. As you rise up into space, you will begin to feel lighter and freer, but above all, you will find peace, a peace that will gradually suffuse every cell of your being.
By meditating on the Wisdom that created the universe and the creatures that inhabit it, you will feel your soul putting out very subtle antennae, which allow it to communicate with the most remote regions. Those are sublime moments that you will then never forget.
(O.M. Aïvanhov, The Path of Silence, chapter XIII)

We came whirling out of nothingness, scattering stars like dust...
The stars made a circle, and in the middle, we dance.
(Rumi)

When the night is clear, make a habit of looking up at the stars and drinking in this peace that softly descends from the star-studded sky. Link yourself with each of them, and just like a living, intelligent soul, each star will say a word to you. Try to find one with which you feel a special affinity, link yourself with it, and imagine that you are going toward it or that it is coming to speak to you.
The stars are highly advanced souls. By listening to their voice, you will find the solution to many problems, you will feel enlightened and at peace.
(O.M. Aïvanhov)
