Jacob's Dream
(William Blake, c.1805, British Museum, London; public domain; downloaded from Wikimedia Commons)

Ladder

Climb up an imaginary ladder of angels and fire devas all the way into the world of the sun. In that realm of light and love, play with the wondrous beings, learn from them, discuss your problems with them, feel free and energized.

(Unknown source)

A line art image of Jacob's Ladder. At the base of a tree, Jacob is dreaming. A wooden ladder stretches up to a cloud of Light, in which God resides. Angels are up and down the rungs. In the distance is a fortress atop a hill. Behind it, on the horizon, is a brilliant rising sun.

[PWP’s comments: In this way, you forge a connection between your lower self and higher self.
The ladder can also be a bridge or a staircase or similar.
Just like you exercise to build muscles or flexibility, just like you study to improve a skill - you need to work with methods like prayer, meditation and solar culture exercises to solidify your link to Spiritual Light.
It is a lifelong discipline.]

Jacob's Dream painting by William Blake. A dreaming Jacob at the base of a spiral stone staircase leads to Heaven. Heaven is symbolised by the sun. Angels frequent all levels of the staircase.
