Naked

Bathe naked in the dew at the end of the day or the very early morning of Beltane [±1 May].
Say:

Time shall not bind me
Or weariness find me
Let hawthorn and dew
Make this body new.
I kneel on the grass
And I lie on the earth
And the dew of this day
Shall give me rebirth.

(Celtic ritual)

The sun is rising or setting. Where the sea meets the beach are some rocks. On one of these rocks sits a beautiful mermaid.

[An alternative: On the days prior to the ritual, prepare two glasses of spring water. One glass will have been left in sunlight for several hours. The other glass will have been left in moonlight for several hours.
On the ritual day, collect some dew. Put the dew in both glasses. Speak the words. Drink the potentised waters.]
