Repetition Sometimes you complain, ‘I’ve been watching the sunrise for twenty years and I don’t feel any change, no divine seeds are growing within me.’ But twenty years is not very long. Some of the seeds buried deep within you need centuries or even millennia, to grow. In astrology, some planets, like Mercury, Venus and the Moon have a fast revolution and their influence is short and superficial, while others like Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Pluto have a slower revolution, which is why their influence is deeper and more tangible. So, there are some things you can obtain quickly: you can have a job, a house, a spouse and children within a few years. However, learning to be reasonable, patient, in control of oneself or generous takes a very long time, because the ‘orbits’ of these qualities are vast. That is why you must continue to warm yourself in the rays of the spiritual sun and then, one fine day, everything will grow. Never doubt the effectiveness of the sun in your spiritual life. (O.M.
