It removes the last illusions. Notes & Quotes "Divine justice has its laws, which are not always identical to those of human justice. Let us take an example: you would like to do somebody good, but through your own ignorance or clumsiness, they are the victim of an accident. Earthly justice, which does not perceive your motives, judges you according to your actions. Divine justice, on the other hand, which does know your good intentions, may allow human law to punish you, because it is not its concern, but it will amply reward you for your generosity. Conversely, you may appear to behave appropriately towards someone but with the hidden intention of misleading them, and so, whereas you will be appreciated on earth, heaven will punish you because the celestial law courts judge you not according to your actions, but according to your motives. Actions and motives are not subject to the same jurisdiction. Of course, if both your motives and your actions are divine and irreproachable you will be rewarded by both sides, and equally if you infringe the laws on both sides then both courts will condemn you." (O.M. Aïvanhov) "Even though there are law courts and judges, true justice is not really something that happens outside of us. Absolute justice, divine justice is within us, because our thoughts, our feelings, our actions – everything – is recorded within us and we cannot escape the consequences of these recordings. When someone is brewing up some dubious scheme in private, behind closed doors, they may think, ‘No one can see what I’m doing, so no one will condemn my actions.’ Well, they are mistaken, because in reality everything is being recorded on a kind of magnetic tape that cannot be erased. They have to live with these recordings. This justice within them, forever watching them and judging them, is far more dreadful than any courts on earth. Try, therefore, to do good things, even if you are at home by yourself, because these good things will be recorded. God is often depicted as an eye inside a triangle. This is a way of saying that God has installed in human beings devices that see and record everything, and that they cannot escape this inner judgement." (O.M. Aïvanhov) "If everything you do is ruled by the law of justice, you are like the grocer who sells a pound of cherries and weighs them to be sure that you do not get one cherry too many. With justice of this kind, the grocer will soon have no more customers. You should always give more than you owe, for in this way you make people happy and win their friendship. Justice was useful in former times when human beings were not ready to accept the teachings of Christ, the teaching of love. The Old Testament speaks only about justice (an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth); but to follow this rule today would mean a great loss. The invisible world would say, ‘Since you always behave with justice, justice will be your lot for eternity’, and this would be really terrible. But if you work according to the law of love, then you will meet with love. The law of justice is a necessary basis for moral conduct, but it is not sufficient for the establishment on earth of the kingdom of God ‘and his justice’ – for divine justice is not human justice. Love will always transcend justice." (O.M. Aïvanhov) "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere." (Martin Luther King Jr.) "Instead of striving to improve themselves, human beings prefer to protect their lower nature. They are at the service of their own weaknesses, desires and whims. They do not even try to see where their thoughts, feelings and desires come from; they just have to sense the stirring of a thought or feeling within themselves to give in to it immediately. And then they are astonished to see that after giving expression to all their impulses, they feel weakened and unhappy. The truth is that if you want to become powerful and happy, you must learn to submit to the divine laws. Yes, contrary to what most people think, it is when you obey these laws that you become powerful and happy, not when you oppose them. Sooner or later, those who oppose the divine laws are broken." (O.M. Aïvanhov) "It is not bad to want to overturn the prejudices and rules of a narrow moral law in order to finally be oneself, quite the contrary. But it is essential to know that Cosmic Intelligence has established eternal laws of a higher order than those of humans and, whether we like it or not, if we break those laws we will have to pay in sorrow, suffering and sickness." (O.M. Aïvanhov) "It is possible to escape human justice, but it is impossible to escape divine justice. Why? Because these two forms of justice are not of the same nature. Divine justice cannot touch human beings externally, but it touches them inwardly. There are criminals who have always managed to escape human justice, but inwardly they are being destroyed: their health, their psychic state, everything is falling apart. On the face of things certain elements are still holding up, but gradually they will disintegrate, because it is the inner realm that nourishes them and that sustains the edifice; and if the inner realm collapses, then the outer realms will also soon fall. This is how divine justice makes itself known. And even if its sanctions are not immediately visible, they are instantaneous: the moment a human being makes a transgression, something in them darkens, something starts to disintegrate. Even if it takes years for this disintegration to appear externally, it has already started inwardly." (O.M. Aïvanhov) "Jesus spoke of the kingdom of God and His justice because the kingdom of God has its own special justice, which is different from that of earth. On earth, someone only has to lodge a complaint, often for something quite trivial (someone has encroached on their land... their paycheck was a little short... someone insulted them...) and the full force of the law is with them, and the offender is found guilty. But human justice never rewards those who are good and generous and who bring peace to all around them. Justice on earth serves mainly to defend the most selfish and petty streaks in human beings. Man’s higher nature goes unrecognized. It is even scoffed at and trampled underfoot. An honest, upright, unselfish person is a nuisance, and everyone tries to get rid of him so that they can carry on with their shady dealings in peace. This is totally unacceptable in the kingdom of God!" (O.M. Aïvanhov) "Justice has few friends." (Dolores Ashcroft-Nowicki) "Most religions teach that our suffering comes from God: God sends trials to the just because he loves them, and God pursues the wicked to punish them for their faults and compel them to return to the right path. Is this the truth? There are immutable laws that rule the universe that God created, and its workings. Since human beings are part of the universe, if they transgress these laws, they come up against the cosmic powers and experience some knocks. So in a sense you could say that God punishes them. And if they keep on trying to improve their understanding and respect for the laws, the difficulties they necessarily encounter also cause them suffering, but this suffering, which is a natural part of the evolutionary path, contributes to their development. And so we can also say that God makes the just suffer; he makes them suffer out of love because he wants them to grow, to blossom. This love also is part of cosmic law." (O.M. Aïvanhov) "One has not only a legal but a moral responsibility to obey just laws. Conversely, one has a moral responsibility to disobey unjust laws." (Martin Luther King, Jr.) "People who have managed to escape human justice often think they can also escape divine justice. They have not studied the question sufficiently to realize that the two systems are not of the same nature. Divine justice may spare them outwardly, but it affects them inwardly. We see criminals who have seemingly escaped justice but who are falling apart inwardly as their physical and psychic health gradually deteriorates. Certain external elements still resist the general decay but even these will eventually crumble, because it is the inner structure that nourishes and sustains the whole edifice. If the inner structure collapses, sooner or later the outer structure is bound to follow suit. This is how divine justice manifests itself, and its judgements are immediate: the moment a person transgresses the law, something darkens within them and begins to crumble. Even if it takes years for this inner rot to become apparent externally, inwardly it is already at work." (O.M. Aïvanhov) "Remember that every word and deed, feeling and thought, will move the scales." (Dolores Ashcroft-Nowicki) "Rid your minds of the idea that you can transgress the divine laws with impunity. It is easy to cheat human beings. They are so gullible and have so little judgement that anyone with a little guile can get them to do almost anything. Yes, it is unfortunate, but it is the truth. It is always possible to trick human beings, especially with lies, for they tend to prefer lies. If you tell them the truth, you can be sure that they will doubt what you say, but if you cheat and lie, you can almost always get what you want. The only problem is, of course, that we are not here on earth in order to get our own way by conning other people. We must realize that one day we will have to answer for our actions before the great laws of the cosmos. Instead of amusing ourselves by putting on an act for the benefit of the blind, we should think about these laws. For all your actions are recorded, weighed and examined, and one day, you will have to settle your accounts. You may have gained a little something by deceiving the ignorant, you may have them under your thumb, but you yourself will have lost an entire kingdom in the world above." (O.M. Aïvanhov) "Suppose you want to help someone, but through ignorance or clumsiness, you end up hurting them instead. As the justice of this world does not perceive your motives, it will condemn you on the basis of your actions. But the justice on high sees your good intentions, and although it may allow human laws to punish you, because that is not their concern, it will reward you richly for your divine and selfless intentions. Conversely, if you are generous and shower gifts on someone but have an ulterior motive – seducing a girl, for instance – you may be well thought of on earth, but on high, heaven will punish you, because the celestial courts judge your motives not your deeds. Our actions and the motives that inspire them are not subject to the same jurisdiction. Of course, if both your motives and your deeds are divine and beyond reproach, you will be rewarded on both levels; and if you break the law on both levels, both courts will condemn you." (O.M. Aïvanhov) "The Law was written and designed to protect the people in control and their wealth. Don't fall for the lie that it is designed to protect you or that it cares about justice in any way at all." (BladeoftheSun, Bluesky, posted and accessed 15 August 2025) "There's no justice, just us." (Saying) "True peace is not merely the absence of tension: it is the presence of justice." (Martin Luther King, Jr.) "We have a right to apply to the Custodians of the Universe. They deal with everything very fairly. The outcome may not necessarily please you, but you've taken the burden off yourself, and put it in the best hands. You can think of this before sleep, and you may find that it has been sorted out in miraculous ways. You ask for the Department of Justice and the Lawgivers, and just say you don't want to cope with the situation, you don't want to think badly, you don't want to be negative, you want to get on with God's work - but you also feel that justice is not being done. So, you have a right to put a petition into the Lawgivers upstairs. However, you then forfeit the right to do anything by yourself. In other words, once you've put it into the hands of the higher self and the higher angelic and the Lawgivers, you do not interfere with their result. And, you just send blessings, and put the situation/people in the light. Just let the forces of Light and the highest deal with it. And they deal with this really well, I can assure you, they do. They deal with it very, very well." (Lilla Bek adaptation, Spiritual Advice, 1995) "We live in a world that has laws and customs that must be obeyed, and authorities that we must respect. This is well and good, but it is not enough. There are other, invisible authorities and laws that we must also take into consideration. There is no point in winning the esteem of the whole world if we fail to win the approval of heaven. Human beings may applaud your achievements and give you prizes and grand titles, because they rely exclusively on appearances and external manifestations, but if heaven, which sees your inner thoughts, feelings and motivations, disapproves of you, you will never feel truly happy and content. Conversely, the whole world may be against you because it is incapable of appreciating what you do, but if heaven is with you because you have managed to win its approval, no amount of criticism or tribulation will destroy the happiness that dwells deep within you." (O.M. Aïvanhov) "You may become a victim of grave injustices on the part of human beings. If you are really innocent, do everything you can within to resist. Never give anyone the opportunity to harm you or destroy you. Why do you care about what these people think if they are so blind? Just listen to the judgement of the inner tribunal of your conscience, the Divinity that lives within you. Be concerned above all with being clear about yourself, and always behave with honesty and disinterestedness. Then, tell yourself that who you are; your dignity and your honour, do not depend on what others think of you. Your divine nature supports you, and this should be enough for you to continue walking with your head held high." (O.M. Aïvanhov) |
